Help keep the spooky away for some people!

This weekend we have scheduled a round of pick-ups for Saturday and two deliveries for Sunday.  On Saturday, 10/29, starting at 10:00am we are making three stops in West Hartford and one in Bristol to pick up much needed furniture that will be delivered to the two clients we have scheduled for Sunday, 10/30, starting at 12:00 noon.  We need a driver and 3-4 volunteers for both Saturday’s pick-ups and Sunday’s deliveries.  The reason we are doing two deliveries on Sunday is that both clients live in the same apartment complex in Hartford.  Please let us know if you can help on either Saturday or Sunday, thanks.
This past weekend we went back-to-back with one delivery on Saturday (10/22) and two deliveries on Sunday (10/23).  The Saturday team was comprised of Sue Kayeum, Alan Heins and Sam Paul.  They made a delivery to a mom and her son in East Hartford.  It turns out she needed some of the furniture we brought but not all of it.  Thanks to Sue, Alan and Sam for braving the rain and helping out the family.  On Sunday, Jim Ligas led an all Conard delivery team comprised of Zeus and Dylan Wood, (and dad Martin, and Cam Chmela to New Britain to deliver furniture to two clients.  The first client just needed beds and linens for her three kids.  The second stop was more substantial and included furniture for the bedroom, living room and kitchen.  A big thanks to the Jim, Cam and the Woods family for assisting two families in need.  Go Chieftains!!
Finally, on Monday, 10/24, Todd Polley achieved a rare trifecta for deliveries almost singlehandedly.  With assistance from a volunteer team from the American School for the Deaf, he made a delivery to a mom and her child in Hartford who needed beds and other furniture for their apartment.  He also met a case manager who drove up from Middletown to pick up a bed for her client.  He then waited around for a third client who drove over from New Britain to pick up furniture and other household items for his apartment.  All I can say is that if there were more Todd Polleys in this world, it would be a much better place.  Thanks Todd!!
A humble brag on Todd’s behalf – Todd wrote: If I am going to brag a bit.  It was a quadfecta.  I also scheduled a donor to drop off 3 TVs that afternoon.  One of which went directly from the donors car to the mom and child in Hartford. Way to go Todd!
