Pushing to make 200 deliveries – Come help us out!

Happy Holidays everyone.  We are on a push to serve 200 clients this year.  We are currently at 196 and are scheduling clients for 12/24 and for the week of 12/26-12/31.  We know that there are many strong students on break and many of you also have some time off from work between Christmas and New Years. Please consider setting aside a couple hours one day to make this holiday season great for our clients in need.   Please respond to this email with the day you can help.

THANK YOU
Last weekend we had to cancel our Saturday deliver due to the weather but the rain didn’t keep Jim Rattigan and new volunteers Sam and Garrett from completing another whole house pickup on Sunday.  The warehouse is now full thanks to them.  Thanks also to Sue, Todd and Shelia for manning the warehouse to sort, reorganize and greet 5 drop off donors.
HOUSEHOLD NEEDS
We have a matching grant from Thrivent for pillows, blankets and sheets (twin and full only)
Between now and the end of the year, we are having a matching drive. Please help us out and bring new pillows, blankets and sheets to us over the next week and a half at the times we have activities at the warehouse and leave a copy of what you spent with your donation so we can receive the matching dollars!
If you want to drop them off at a different time, please email us at info@ahandupinc.org and we will give you another location to drop them off.

Otherwise, the warehouse is full and we are asking you to hold on to your donations until the new year.  The deliveries planned will create a lot of space.
