VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS WEEK… 
  • Saturday (12/15) – 10am-1pm– Delivery Day/Home Makeover Day – Volunteers needed! We are going to do a partial-home makeover with lots of items to be delivered and decorations to go up, but not our typical home makeover with the big reveal at the end!
  • Sunday (12/16) – 12am – 3pm –  Pick up and Delivery day!! Driver and Volunteers Needed!! Please note the time change – we received a request from some volunteers to change the time for Sundays, so we are giving it a try! (2nd week at the time, 1st week didn’t pan out due to lack of driver).

  • Sunday 11/18 – Thank you to Todd for driving Sunday for a final Thanksgiving delivery along with Lisa, Ryan, David, and Breah for their help with the delivery and doing some serious organizing afterwards!

  • Wednesday 11/14– Rob, Todd, and ASD students for their help with pickups and deliveries on Wednesday!

  • Saturday 11/17 – Sam Paul for leading the team, and the volunteers from Northwest Catholic, Breah, David, and Matt D. for their help with 2 deliveries right across the street from the warehouse!
  • Sunday 11/18 – Thank you to Michael for driving as well as Breah and David for their second days in a row of volunteering! Along with Jackie, Janna, Cyrine, Peter, Farida, Jamie, and Laerke! It was wonderful having so many new faces!!

  • Sunday 11/11 and Monday 11/12 – Thank you to Michael, Todd, and Alan for their help clearing the last of the items out of the old warehouse, to help complete our transition from 93 Talcott Road, to 635 New Park Ave!

  • Sunday 11/4 – Thank you to Dave for driving, and to the volunteers Adrian, Kurt and one of their daughters, and to the Conard HS Football Team for all of their help delivering to 2 clients in Hartford! What a great day!!

  • Monday 10/22 – Rob for helping Alison with two pick ups!
  • Tuesday 10/23- Matt, Danny, Rob, Debbie, and the Futures Inc. volunteers for their help with 4 pick ups and 2 deliveries (we split up into 2 groups to make the most of the time on Tuesday!)
  • Wednesday 10/24 – Ace Van and Storage for dropping off 6 apartments worth of furniture from Ducci Electrial at the warehouse! A huge help to our furniture program!!
  • Thursday 10/25 – Thank you to the Futures volunteers as well as Debbie and our newest volunteer Matt D for joining us on our deliveries on Thursday!
  • Friday 10/26 – Thank you to Lincoln Financial Group and their group of 10 volunteers who were such a huge help on Friday delivering to 4 households in need!
  • Saturday 10/27 – A huge thank you and shout out goes to Alan and Breah for braving the winds and the rain and delivering to one client and picking up some furniture in Manchester! We’ve got some brave volunteers and are so thankful for them!
  • Sunday 10/28 – Thank you to Adrian, Kurt and their girls for joining us along with Breah (two days in a row!!), Clare, and Taylor from Watkinson!

We are so happy to have all of the help this week and have been able to deliver and pick up at so many places! Thank you to everyone who was able to help, we can’t wait for another great week ahead!

No additional help needed on Saturday due to a group from Coldwell Banker helping with a Home Makeover! If anyone is interested in doing some organizing at the warehouse that would be a huge help for Saturday! If not, I hope to see a full house on Sunday! Have a great week!

Unfortunately we didn’t get many signups this past week so we weren’t able to do as many deliveries! We are looking forward to a busy week with some pickups already completed today and quite a few pickups and deliveries scheduled for tomorrow and throughout the week! Sign up to help when you can, we have weekend activities almost every weekend until the end of the year!
